FAR-Infrared Heat Weight Loss & Detox Therapy

FAR-Infrared Heat Therapy for Weight Loss, Body Contouring and Detoxification

Once your intake form is complete, your therapist will sit down with you and talk about your goals and expectations. After the process has been explained and all questions answered, measurements to track progress are taken.  After you are on the bed and the temperature is adjusted, your therapist will be in constant communication to ensure your comfort throughout the treatment process. A brief cool down period helps your body adjust back to normal temperatures. The same measurements are taken again, and results recorded.

The FAR-Infrared-Rays System: When people are overweight and have cellulite, it is difficult to jump start weight loss and getting in shape. Problems occur when fat becomes isolated from blood and lymphatic circulation. When this happens, fat cannot be eliminated from the body. In order to treat this, it is important to improve circulation and force the body to use stored fat as energy to fuel the body.

Far-Infrared-Rays brakes down fat-pockets which forms the orange peel look, and being over-weight. Fat forms pockets and when it is cold our body temperature drops, the fat pockets be-come solid, hard and cold this cause pain and discomfort to the human body.

We look forward to seeing you soon! Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

1. Don’t skip your breakfast so that metabolism may not be slowed down.

2. Drink More water.

3. Eat spicy foods not oily.

4. Eat forest fruits which are good source of antioxidants & negative calory foods like berries Green Berry , Black Berry , Goose Berry , Mulberry , Blue Berries .

5. To maintain and increase weight loss, do some muscle building anaerobic exercises.

6. Have cinnamon  powder in warm water, 30 min before any meal.

7. Use Safflower Oil as it is a polyunsaturated fat which does not cause weight gain. It is associated with weight loss, decreased risk of heart disease & lower glucose levels. It increases the production of adiponectin harmone almost 20% more than the normal level which in turn causes fat burn. It also contains a special polyunsaturated fat called cis-linoleic acid. The cis-linoleic acid found in safflower oil stimulates the activity of brown fat – the type that’s more commonly found in children and people who are thin. When brown fat is activated by the cis-lineic acid, it burns off the more common form of fat in the body – white fat.

8. Eat papaya or vegetable soup as your dinner for 2-3 months.

9. Drink green tea or ginger tea as ginger is very effective in burning excessive fats.

Some research suggests that apple cider vinegar increase our metabolism, which helps us burn more calories even when we are resting. Therefore a simple weight loss home remedy is the following:

10. Mix 2 teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar to a class of water.  Take a few sips of this mixture throughout the day (don't drink it all at once).

Similar to Apple Cider Vinegar, Evening Primrose Oil can help stimulate our metabolism and cause our body to burn more calories. Therefore, a simple remedy to promote weight loss is to take a capsule of Evening Primrose Oil once per day followed by a daily 20-minute cardiovascular exercise routine.

Research has found that the combination of Green Tea and Caffeine can help to boost our metabolism as well as help to suppress our appetites. Therefore, an effective remedy for weight loss is to take a Green Tea supplement which contains 50mg of Caffeine and 90mg of EGCG (the active ingredient in Green Tea) three times per day (once before each meal).

How to lose stomach weight

13 November, 2012 01:27:00

The stomach is a vital component of the digestive system and it can be affected by the slightest digestion problem. Fermentation, fizzy drinks, air swallowed when eating, constipation, stress and emotions can all make your stomach painful and bloated.

Take your time eating

Eating on the go makes you ingest air and slows down digestion. Eat in a calm, quiet setting, sitting at a table, and spend at least thirty minutes eating and chewing every mouthful well.

Get enough fibre

You need twenty-five to thirty grams per day (in whole cereals, fruit and vegetables) for good bowel movements. However, more than this can irritate the intestines and cause bloating.

Eat the right fruits and vegetables

Eat fruit and vegetables which are easy to digest, helps the body to eliminate toxins. Go easy on ‘floury’ vegetables which are not the best for fragile stomachs and intestines (dried fruit and potatoes).

Be a carnivore but eat less meat

Meat, fish and eggs provide you with loads of energy and protein without fermenting or increasing stomach volume. Choose lean versions of meat and have a couple of days meat-free to give your digestion a break. Choose fish, eggs or vegetables instead, on those days.

Eat cooked food

Cooking changes the structure of food and helps chewing, digestion and breakdown.

Go easy on the salt

Excessive salt use can lead to water retention around the stomach. Taste your food before automatically sprinkling it with salt and cut down on processed food which is often full of added salt.

Treat your digestive system

If you're having digestion problems, take a course of probiotic supplements (recommended by your doctor or pharmacist). If you're suffering from constipation, eat figs and prunes in the morning for a few days to help things along.

Breathe properly

Breathing deeply from your stomach rather than from your chest helps eliminate toxins from the body. Lie on your back, place one hand flat on your stomach, inhale into your shoulders, down your shoulder blades, into your rib cage and diaphragm, then exhale the other way.

Eliminate fat

When we eat too much of the wrong foods, fat easily builds up around the middle. Here's how to get rid of spare tyres:

2. Go easy on the sugar

Quick sugars (cakes, sweets, fizzy drinks, etc.) and refined carbohydrates cause peaks in blood sugar and make you store their calories as fat on your waist. Opt for non-processed, whole, complex carbohydrates (whole cereals, rice and pasta).

3. Look at your calorie intake

When we consume more calories than we burn off, they have to go somewhere! Some people store fat on their bum and thighs; others store it around their middle (it all depends on your body shape and genes). If you want to lose weight it's a simple matter of burning more calories than you eat.

4. Tone up your stomach

Slack stomachs are often caused by a lack of exercise and bad posture. When we sit we often sag our stomachs and bend. This leads to abdominal slackening, moving the pelvis forward and weakening the muscles, giving you a slack, prominent stomach and even back pain.

5. Hold yourself straight

The stomach is linked to the back, shoulder blades, sternum, collar bone (scapular belt) and pelvis. As often as possible, tighten your abs and straighten up.

1. Exercise

To get rid of fat around the waist you need to come for therapy at least three times a week and you should keep it up for at least thirty minutes per session.

3. Our pain relief & loss weight machines are based on giving rise to your body immunity & inbuilt detoxification processes. We therefore provide our every support for maintaining your weight loss constant.

The Treatment Plan

The number of acupressure treatments necessary depends on the patient’s goals for losing weight, the speed at which they want to lose, and their commitment to keeping the weight off. If the overeating is severe, a treatment every day for the first five days is appropriate and can then taper off the second week to every other day and the third week to every three days. For the average patient who wants to lose between five to ten pounds, one treatment every three days or twice a week until they reach their goal is appropriate, and then a booster treatment once every two weeks is optimal. After a few booster treatments, the patient and practitioner will mutually decide when to terminate frequent treatments and then can aim to meet approximately four times a year at the change of seasons when energy levels are unstable and tonification and harmonizing of one’s system is appropriate for everyone.

If you have a spare tire around your midsection and you are obsessed with getting rid of it -- you are right to be. Stomach fat is the worst kind of fat, not because it is unsightly but because it poses a threat to your health. Researchers have found that stomach fat is an organ, complete with hormones, proteins and access to your vital innards

What is Stomach Fat?

Right under your skin lays subcutaneous fat. Its role once was to preserve fat accumulated during the summer months, so that in winter when food was sparse, people didn't starve. Subcutaneous fat is able to enter your blood stream. Underneath the subcutaneous fat lies a layer of muscles, and beneath that you have visceral fat, which is the kind of fat you need be concerned about. Dr. Pamela Peeke, author of "Body for Life For Women" and an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Maryland, says that visceral fat can affect the liver's ability to handle cholesterol, which in turn increases your risk of heart disease. In addition, visceral fat causes insulin to become less effective, which can increase your risk of diabetes

Diet Tips and Exercise to Decrease Fat as the Liposuction Alternative

Let me stress that liposuction is not a quick or easy means to lose weight. I repeat: Liposuction should not be used to reduce your weight or thought of as an overnight remedy to get rid of large amounts of body fat. The best and healthiest way to lose weight is with a combination of diet and exercise.

An ideal candidate for liposuction should eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and have a steady and healthy body weight. However, if that describes you and you’ve tried mightily and just can't seem to rid yourself of that pinch an inch section on your tummy, saddlebags, or elsewhere, liposuction might help.

Liposuction has given many people a jumpstart to increase their activity and improve their diet to improve their physique. It can give you the jumpstart you need to looking better and making healthy changes in your behaviour. If you feel good about yourself, you take better care of yourself. Liposuction can help motivate you.

But in the mean time, you have to look at your behaviour: if you aren't eating what you should (or not in the quantities that you should) and aren’t at least walking around the block once a week, you have to know that this isn't healthy. It's not all about looking good; it's about feeling good, too. Your body can't function well when it's all out of whack so at least try to help it run smoothly.

Proper diet and exercise will increase your metabolism and improve the way your body functions. Diet can help keep your cholesterol levels and blood sugar under control. Regular exercise can do those things and boosts your cardiovascular health, helps regulate moods, and helps build strong bones. A good diet and regular exercise may even prolong your life.

Unhealthy habits” which includes eating the wrong foods, eating the right foods in excess, drinking excessively, and smoking” will put your body through the ringer. Saddlebags, "love handles,” and excess poundage will be the least of your worries if you live that way. The best way to create a wholesome diet for you is to meet with a nutritionist or registered dietician. But I know not all of us, including me, want to pay or can afford to pay someone to tell us how we should eat.

The good news is that there are countless books, websites, support forums, and organizations that can help you with eating healthier. The bad news is that often these sources contradict each other and confuse the heck out of everyone. Find what works for you. You should be able to tell by how you feel, how you perform and how you look if a diet works for you.

Some suggestions for you for healthy dieting:

  • Watch your sugar intake: Eating pies, candies, cakes, and desserts in general, which have high amounts of sugar, can really pack on the lbs. Sugar also stresses your body by creating high insulin spikes that must be quickly balance out in your blood sugar levels.
  • Watch your refined carbohydrate intake: If all your carbohydrates are in the form of white processed flour, pasta, white bread, and even white rice, you have removed almost all of the essential fibre and vitamins. These products increase your insulin levels and increase your waistline.
  • Watch your starches and natural sugars: Foods like potatoes; carrots and corn are high in starches and/or sugars and can cause you to expand. You may think they are friendly vegetables but especially when they are eaten in excess, they're not. By sugar, I mean maple syrup, honey, and other "natural" forms of sugar. It's not so much the calories, it's the glycemic index. I use several sugar alternatives such as Splenda, isomalt, stevia and others. I don't personally like to consume such as aspartame, maltitol, and lactitol.
  • Decrease your intake of sodas and other sugary drinks: Again, the problem is the sugar. America lives off of sugar. Think of how many sodas or sugary beverages you drink daily and add up those calories.
  • Not all fat is bad fat. Fats found naturally in foods should be taken in moderation. The body needs fat to survive and depriving it will throw your entire body chemistry off. I am not talking about potato chip fat or Ben and Jerry's fat. I am talking about avocado, olive oil, nut oils, fish oils, lean meats” that kind of fat.

The important fact is that you shouldn't go out, get liposuction, and start eating all the bad things all over again thinking you won't gain weight. You will gain weight. Liposuction does not give you a license for many return trips to the gourmet buffet.

Don't get me wrong, I cheat every once in a while and sometimes much more than once in a while, but I don't eat every "forbidden food" consistently. I love food, but I know I can't keep eating and eating without paying for it eventually. I eat healthy and "reward" myself sometimes.

Exercise is also very important. You should get at least 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise, the exercise that gets your heart pumping a bit harder, several times a week. You don’t need expensive machinery or a gym membership. A brisk walk will do this. Again, you have to burn off more calories than you take in to lose weight. Exercise has the advantage of building strong bones, which is a good thing.

When Body Fat Stems from a Heath Issue

Many underlying health conditions can contribute to weight gain. Thyroid problems are one of the top reasons for a slow metabolism and an inability to burn fat efficiently. My thyroid is slow, as is my mother's. Staying thin is a battle.

Aging may be an issue in weight gain, but not all older people have problems with fat gain. Eating the wrong foods can cause imbalances in hormones such as insulin. Too much insulin can alter your hormonal outputs and decrease your ability to burn fat efficiently.

Medications can also alter your body's fat storage and fat burning ability or affect appetite. Hormone supplements, including birth control, can be a big cause in female-specific area weight gain. Hips, lower abdomen and thighs” as well as the breasts” become fattier and the mammary glands enlarge in the breasts in many women after they start using hormonal birth control products.

Hormone replacement therapy for menopause can also cause weight problems. Estrogen can cause weight gain in the hips, lower abdomen, pubic mound, and thighs, as well.

Protease Inhibitors used to treat HIV and AIDS tend to disrupt fat distribution, giving users a potbelly ("the protease paunch") as well as a fat pad on the nape of the neck (sometimes called a "buffalo hump"). However, some physicians believe this is not fat build up, but formation of dense scar tissue that is formed in those sites or a dense form of fatty tissue rather than scar tissue or normal adipose tissue. A "buffalo hump" can be removed with liposuction or surgical excision, but removing the visceral fat in the paunch is risky and very rarely performed. However, some of the paunch is subcutaneous fat and is easily removed with normal liposuction.

Some antipsychotic drugs cause weight gain as well. Luckily, the first stage of treatment is when the weight gain seems to occur for most people. Usually after the body adjusts the weight gain levels off as well. If you are on antipsychotic medications and have noticed weight gain, consider changing your diet under the supervision of your physician.

Oral corticosteroids (prednisone, prednisone, and methylprednisolone) can cause fat distribution abnormalities as well. They also are known to increase your appetite. Protruding abdomens and rounded faces (a moon face) are a known side effect of steroid use. Corticosteroids are used in treating many disorders, including lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.

Cushing's syndrome or disease is caused by an adenoma of the pituitary gland. It too can cause a protuberant abdomen and a buffalo hump. As with corticosteroid use, Cushing syndrome can lead to a moon face. People with Cushing's usually have an "apple" shaped body due to weight carried in the midsection.

But whatever the cause, it is important to know that visceral fat is dangerous to remove, either through liposuction or any other type of surgery. Furthermore, if you have any kind of pre-existing medical disorder or even the possibility of one, you should discuss it with your primary care physician and any specialists you see if you are considering liposuction or other fat extraction. Liposuction is very serious surgery. All risks and possibilities should be known before you can make an informed choice.

However, don’t feel guilty for thinking about liposuction if it makes you happy. Life is too short to worry about or be ashamed of making yourself happy. As long as you are making healthy choices and not hurting anyone, go for it! You just have to know the risks and be well informed.
